One Comprehensive Healthcare Plan for All Utah Families
Learn more about our plan for publicly-financed, privately-distributed health care delivery for the beehive state. We believe that every Utahn should have quality medical care regardless of employer, medical history or income.
What is State-Based Single Payer Healthcare?
Utah Cares will establish a state-wide, publicly funded, not-for-profit healthcare system.
Rather than depending on multiple private insurance companies and various programs, a single nonprofit organization will manage healthcare costs for all Utah residents.
This citizen-driven bill is free from corporate and special interest influence, aiming to deliver comprehensive healthcare at no cost at the point of service. Our objective is to put this to a vote, asking Utahns to vote YES on #UtahCares – because it’s time to reform how we pay for healthcare in the Beehive State.
What’s Covered?
Under this system, all residents of Utah would be covered for all medically necessary services.
